Low Hum by Faroese artist Jana Jonhardsdóttir examines the structure of plants and the movement of the ocean. The composition features large flowing shapes in textured black ink and uses biologist Lindenmayer's L-system theory – a study that suggests organic forms are easy to identify but become more complex and detailed as they expand and combine. The resulting composition is soothing by its sense of movement, yet intricate and detailed. Note: Poster frame is not included.
