OPAQUE OBJECTS x MARTIN BERGSTRÖM. Inspired by the atmosphere of space and the plant henbane. For Opaque Object. Martin Bergström wanted to interweave the 400-year history and tradition of Skultuna. He researched the rich archives of Skultuna and found out the history of the place and surroundings around Skultuna and got an answer as to why King Charles IX chose this special place to build the brass mill. The mysticism of the Iron Age tombs. the proximity to the river Svartå and the deep forests. the history and traditions around the mill inspired him to combine them with his own design and aesthetic. Among other things. the archives led Martin Bergström to a meteorite that hit a few kilometres from Skultuna on 28 June 1876. Martin Bergström built all products in models that have since been digitally transmitted. Design: Bernadotte & Kylberg Material: polished brass Dimensions: H 16.5 cm
